Rack designer

What it does

The Rack designer lets you place rack units, slot in 1U/2U devices from your capabilities catalog, and validate power, weight, and cable-slack budgets before you order or ship.

Required inputs

• Rack size — total U (e.g. 42U, 47U).
• PDU profile — single/dual feed, amperage.
• Devices — selected from the catalog (chassis or generic 1U/2U).
• Power per device — watts (auto-filled from catalog when known).
• Cable bundles — optional; used for slack and tray planning.
