DC Templates

What it does

DC Templates package a reference design — topology, BoM, runbook, and pricing — into a reusable solution. Admins author and publish; members instantiate them into their own workspace and customise.

Required inputs (admin authoring)

• Name and slug
• Summary and audience (e.g. enterprise, service provider)
• Tags
• Status — draft / published
• Pricing — base price (cents) and currency
• Payload (JSON) — template body: nodes, links, parameters, BoM

Required inputs (member use)

• A published template to start from
• Optional parameter overrides (e.g. server count, fabric size)

Versions are auto-snapshotted on every meaningful edit, identical to topology versioning.
